Jennifer Coolidge's Baby Boomer Ombré Nails
"Classy, timeless, and modern vintage" was the goal for the White Lotus star's manicure, complementing her long-sleeved, flowing black dress.
Nail Shape: Aprés Gel-X Natural Stiletto Medium
- Shape, buff, and clean with a lint free wipe.
- Mix and match with 1 coat of Aprés Gel Couleur in Spring Sigh and 1 coat of Pink Clouds. I cured 30 seconds between applying each coat.
- To create the ombré look, I used the Aer Gel Machine, curing for 30 seconds. Color: Aer White 001.
- I then applied 1 coat of Non-Wipe Matte Top Gelcoat.
- I used a liner brush and Non-Wipe Glossy Top Gelcoat to draw a thin cuticle cuff and cured for 30 seconds.
- I then applied chrome and sealed with 2 coats of Top Gelcoat X for a scratch-resistant finish.
Quinta Brunson's 24K Chocolate Sheer Cateye Nails
Nail Shape: Aprés Gel-X Natural Stiletto Medium, filed to a sharp point.
- Buff and clean with a lint-free wipe and acetone.
- Add 1 coat of Overdone. Cure for 30 seconds.
- Add 1 coat of cateye. Cure for 30 seconds.
- Add 1 coat of Non-Wipe Matte Top Gelcoat. Cure for 30 secs.
- Using a Thin Art brush, I created texture using Diamond Gel only on the tips.
- I applied the design one nail at a time and flash-cured 10 seconds with the Omni Light and full-cured all 5 nails for 30 seconds.
- I added a thin layer of Non-Wipe Glossy Top Gelcoat over the texture, curing for 30 seconds. I then applied gold chrome on the texture only.
- I finished strong with Non-Wipe Glossy Top Gelcoat.
