Global retailer Helen of Troy Ltd. has added the award-winning nail brand Olive & June to its growing beauty & wellness portfolio which also includes Revlon, Drybar, and Hot Tools, the company has announced.
Valued at $240 million, Olive & June will continue to operate as a stand-alone business under the leadership of founder and CEO Sarah Gibson Tuttle, the retail giant said in announcing the acquisition.
Olive & June is best known for its innovative product design for home nail care, including its Super Stick Mani Wheel for ease in applying press-ons, and its Poppy nail polish bottle handle for better control in painting one’s own nails.
Helen of Troy expects the nail brand will close out 2024 with approximately $92 in net sales revenue.
CEO Noel M. Geoffrey says the acquisition “complements our existing Beauty portfolio, broadens us beyond the Hair category, and adds a consumables business that is both high growth and high margin.”
Helen of Troy is ranked 163 among the largest North American ecommerce retailers by Digital Commerce 360.
Other brands in its beauty and wellness segment include Bed Head by Tigi, Belson, Curlsmith, Gold’n’Hot, Braun, Honeywell, Pur, Vicks, and Protec. It also owns home & outdoor brands HydroFlask, Osprey, and Oxo.
