K18 Expands Professional Outreach With PRO Artist Program

K18 Biomimetic Hairscience has launched its K18 PRO Artist Program, a global education and ambassador initiative aimed at strengthening the brand’s footprint within the salon channel through expanded training, professional resources, and industry visibility.

The new program is focused on artist-led instruction. It’s comprised of active independent salon educators delivering technical cutting, color, and styling courses, as well as hair-science training tied to K18’s biomimetic technology, while acting as brand partners in key international markets.

Rolling out across key professional markets — including the U.S., U.K., Australia, parts of Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America — the initiative is intended to connect educators globally while expanding access to the brand’s in-salon and digital education

K18 PRO Artists will receive product support, educational tools, and promotional backing through the Unilever-owned brand’s professional and distributor channels. The program also includes opportunities to collaborate on brand-led classes, events, and campaigns.

The PRO Artist program signals a broader investment in education as a growth lever, particularly as professional brands look to deepen engagement with stylists and drive in-salon adoption.

“This is about elevating the voices already moving the industry forward,” says Kathy Lewis, the brand’s SVP of Global Education, “and redefining what modern hair education looks like as hair longevity becomes a new priority in the professional channel.”

Selection is ongoing, with K18 recruiting through online applications, direct outreach, and its existing stylist network. The program prioritizes educators who operate independently, maintain consistent teaching schedules, and have established audiences within the beauty industry.
