Sabrina Carpenter lifted her Marilyn and Madonna-coded platinum curls to new heights for her March 2025 Vogue cover shoot by Steven Meisel.
To channel fellow blonde icons for Carpenter's retro look, the multi-Grammy winning artist turned to celebrity hairstylist Evanie Frausto, who used a custom Redken Shades EQ formula and the brand's styling products for her dual take as "Katrina Sharpenter/ Sabrina Carpenter" in Vogue's bonus content.
Frausto shares his cover-girl style recipe below.

"Katrina Sharpenter" Styling
- We started with Redken Quick Blowout from roots to ends, then applied a bit of Redken Root Lifter to the crown for volume.
- Using a 1.25-inch metal round brush, we blow-dried her hair in a set. For her soft, voluminous curls, we used a one-inch iron, pinning each section to set. For bigger, curlier hair, we switched to a 3/4-inch iron to enhance volume and fullness.
- Once her hair cooled, we brushed it out and finished with Redken Dry Texture Spray and Redken Control Hairspray for effortless movement and long-lasting hold.
- For the updo, we incorporated a claw clip for a quick switch, keeping the look versatile and easy to transform.
